Week 8 - Let's Talk About Your 2 Rep Max - Thrower Preseason Training

Week 8 is very much more of the same.

Kind of a boring step up from last week.

There's a lesson to take from this.

To become great at anything, especially throwing, you need to master the mundane. You need to get really good at doing the same thing day after day, week after week, year after year.

Not every week or every day is going to be something completely mind blowingly different. Every day is essentially the same thing.

This week is no different from last week with a few exceptions. First, you are working up to a two rep max on both the squat and the bench press. Second, deadlifts are back. They are lighter and you are only doing singles, but they are back. Hopefully your body got a little bit of a rest after squatting and deadlifing so much over the first 6 weeks.
